Anyway, logistics! I finally decided to put all my boys up in one place. I believe this will become somewhat more than just a doll blog, expanding into more of a "character" blog. All my dolls are characters, but not all of my characters are dolls (yet?). Working on that.
Also working on the mechanics of this whole Blogger thing. I'm liking it so far. I also finally set up a Flickr account (which I intend to keep dedicated to my dolls), but the Blogger slideshow widget appears to be inconsistent in its display. It's really the only thing that's consistently bothering me (other than that I have to spell Mi'kael's name with an acute accent mark [`] instead of an apostrophe because otherwise his tab gets all codified). Sometimes (usually on the first load of the blog) it'll be nice and shrink the photos to a respectable thumbnail size. Other times (usually when I first click away or refresh the blog) it will just cut off the picture at the top left corner. I can't figure out what its deal is, and I'm starting to believe there's nothing I can do about it. Considering substituting for a static image.
I also discovered that I desperately need to take new photos of Angel. And Mik, for that matter. Neither of them had their eyes in very well in the last shoot I did, and both look pretty derpy. Also, I finally got around to modding Mik and Hope's necks so that Mik can pose his head nicely and Hope isn't so much of a giraffe. So a photoshoot is in order.
I can't figure out what kind of clothes to make Mi'kael. I think he might be stuck in the purple bloomers for eternity.
Anyway, eventually I'll get around to posting a proper, permanent introduction to this blog, and expanding the boys' pages to include proper biographies, but in the meantime, welcome! And pardon my dust.
